Tumbleweed Smith, is the voice and personality behind the long running syndicated daily radio show, The Sound of Texas. Smith, a journalist and marketing professional himself, first contacted Spry Marketing in 2001 to design a direct mail piece to promote his services as an after-dinner speaker and one-man show.
“Tumbleweed Talks Texan,” was the result. The promotional piece proved hugely successful and resulted in more speaking engagements than all of Smith’s prior campaigns.
Pleased with the success of Spry Marketing’s first project, Tumbleweed Smith immediately began working with Spry on numerous projects including the branding and redesign of www.tumbleweedsmith.com, the CD cover designs for his two most recent recordings, and three additional direct mail pieces to continue promoting his services as a live performer.
Spry Marketing and Tumbleweed Smith continue their work together. Spry’s most recent project for Smith is the launch of a new feature of tumbleweedsmith.com that delivers The Sound of Texas, radio program, to subscribing stations via the Internet.
